—  About

Created out of a realization that life can change at any moment. The best way to be ready is to learn from others, share advice, and prepare for the unexpected loss of employment. #SisStayReady is a statement to evoke sisterhood and empowerment during the times we need it most.

Founder:

Nicole Howard created #SisStayReady after being laid off for the 4th time in 8 years! These experiences have pushed her to find creative ways to create income from designing t-shirts to offering social media consultant services. She talks to other women who have used these life changes to launch their own businesses. Read their stories here or fill out the form below to share your own.
